D³ FastPoint is a Revolutionary Technology that allows for the detection of up to 8 viruses* with DFA accuracy in under 25 minutes from specimen receipt to virus detection. D³ FastPoint is available in three configurations.

• The D³ FastPoint L-DFA Respiratory Virus Identification Kit detects and identifies influenza A, influenza B, respiratory syncytial virus, metapneumovirus, adenovirus, and a pool of parainfluenza 1, 2, and 3 for laboratories that need to identify all eight major respiratory viruses.
• The D³ FastPoint L-DFA Influenza A/Influenza B Virus Identification Kit specifically detects and identifies influenza A and influenza B, and provides a more sensitive alternative to influenza A/B rapid cartridge testing in a similar turnaround time.
• The D³ FastPoint L-DFA RSV/MPV Identification Kit specifically detects and identifies respiratory syncytial virus and human metapneumovirus, and provides accurate rapid respiratory results for pediatric populations.

All three kits have been cleared for use with nasopharyngeal swabs, aspirates and washes.

Multiplex Format

D³ FastPoint's fluorescent technology provides dual fluorescent results by combining FITC and R-Phycoerythrin (R-PE) labeled antibodies in one reagent. These fluorescent results can be read using a fluorescence microscope with a single filter set, making virus identification more efficient.
